66These are rated similar to bonds, so they go from AAA to D based on how high quality they are.这些评级与债券相似,因此它们从AAA到D都根据质量有多高.

80And I'll tell you about some of my research, which uses satellite imagery and machine learning to assess how well these carbon credits actually work.我向你们介绍我的一些研究, 这些研究利用卫星图像和机器学习来评估这些碳信用额的实际效果。

82So to get started, I want to go through some of the core terms in the world of carbon credits.所以,为了开始,我想通过一些 碳信用额的核心条件。
83The first one is a baseline.第一个是基线。
84The baseline is an estimate of the carbon emissions or the carbon sequestration that would have happened without some carbon project.基准是对碳排放或碳固存的估算,如果没有一些碳项目,本来会发生。

93which is how long does that carbon stay out of the atmosphere?碳在大气中保持多久?

95And that way, in that sense, that reduced emission was not very permanent.从这个意义上说,减少排放并不是永久性的。
